Directions told me to boil water in the wok for 5-7 mins. Pour the water out and immediately start scrubbing with hot soapy water. All the scrubbing I did didn't seem to take off the factory protective coating. Now the wok looks like it is ruined. Tonight is when I finally had a chance to season the wok. And now I can't return the wok, since its past the return date. I was hoping to love it. But now I am trying to salvage it. So far, not happy with it. Any owners of this wok have any ideas to make this thing work without the risk of poisoning myself and my husband... Im all ears.
