I bought this razor after reading so many positive reviews on Amazon and sustainability related blogs. Everyone ranked Merkur at the top, so I thought that I would take the chance and finally invest a safety razor I hoped would last me a lifetime.The first time I used this razor, I was very excited. I got a fairly close shave with some minor difficulties, but I figured they were learning curves that I would work out later. HOWEVER, when I went back to shave my legs for a second and third time, I had a horrible experience. The razor did not lock into place and continued to spin around the screw and I was worried that it would fall apart in the shower. At one point, the head of the razor shifted mid-stroke and I cut myself badly. Also, I bought this product thinking it would last me years, but the top is already beginning to show signs of rust even though I took it apart and dried it immediately after showering and did not leave it in the shower between shaves. I am extremely disappointed that I spent $30 on a product only to switched back to a cheap, disposable, plastic razor a few weeks later. I will not be recommending your products any time soon, and I will search for a new safety razor elsewhere.
