I bought this fan for travelling because I have a hard time sleeping without a fan. I wanted something battery powered because there are times during travel that I don't have access to an outlet or some form of USB plug. It worked phenomenally at first and I thought for sure I would love the thing. Unfortunately, I realized that you can't tilt the fan down sitting on its stand. As soon as you go past 90 degrees, the thing gets top heavy and just falls over. That, I can live with. The deal breaker for me was when I woke up in the middle of the night on the first night of using the thing and the batteries were dead. The fan had drained through brand new batteries in something like 3-5 hours. Why even make the thing if it can't sustain itself on the batteries required? I'd understand if it drained the batteries after a couple nights, but the fact that the fan couldn't even make it through the night made this thing a waste of money.
