I bought these after a friend had a pair for a year and couldn't stop raving about them. I was really hesitant because $232 is A LOT of money. But they were so stinkin' cute and I really wanted good boots that would last a long time so I bit the bullet and bought them. I received them December 2014 and it is now November of 2015 (11 months later) and they are NOT holding up well. I've had $20 boots last longer. The first month I had them one of the metal grommets bent and broke. Not a huge deal, because the boots themselves were still fine and it didn't effect their usage. But it was disappointing after such a short time for such a huge price tag. And then the next month after a short hike on an easy trail with a maintained pathway the corner of the heel on the right boot broke. And a few months after that I noticed the rubber where my toes bend was starting to crack on both boots which just keeps getting worse and worse. The rubber on my back of both boots is also getting a little shaggy looking. I live in Colorado so I wear them daily in the winter. But I'm not exactly an avid outdoors-person. I work indoors and, while I like hiking and being outside, I definitely don't use these on rough terrain. My heart breaks every time I look at them. Save yourself the heart ache and spend your money on ANY other boots.
