Poor planning!
I purchased the Kindle with hopes of a reader for myself and access to educational apps and websites for my children...The main websites that we access (Starfall, ABCmouse, and Team Umizoomi) are all flash player supported....I purchased a Kindle Fire that was part of the "new" series that no longer supports Flash. However, they conveniently leave that information off of the advertisement/information page. I spent four hours searching for apps to support Flash, using Google to determine if this was possible, and speaking to customer representatives that didn't even know if the Kindle Fire would support flash and kept telling me to 'enable flash' when that isn't even a valid feature. I then called customer service to discuss my concerns and ask for a refund. They told me that I would have to return the item and within 2 weeks I should have a refund. Hmmm..they didn't wait until I received the Kindle to take the money from my bank account!!!
