Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I don't know why there are five star reviews stating this product is solid wood, because it is clearly particleboard with a veneer on it (see my pictures). I would not put any stake in those reviews. As for other five star reviews stating: "Yes it's a cheap table, but it's a good value", it's really not. The particleboard used is clearly on the lower end, it is very porous and rough. Condition-wise, the table arrived with visible scratches in the veneer and wear on the end of the legs. If you want something cheap with a good value, you'd be better off buying from a big box store, where you can actually inspect the product and return it easily if something is wrong with it.
