I purchased the Skyroam because it promised “Unlimited Data for 24 hours.” I recently spent two weeks in Egypt and used the Skyroam daily. I had no problem connecting to the Skyroam but discovered that after a few hours of use the response degraded significantly. Turns out Skyroam’s definition of “unlimited data” is 500MB of use then data is throttled down to just enough to send emails. I ended up turning the device on and off throughout the day to conserve data so I could have decent WiFi for my daily needs. I feel like I’ve been flimflammed by Skyroam. If you buy this product be aware of its limitations and that Skyroam’s business/marketing ethics are questionable.
