I will never buy this product again. I am so sad because I wanted to love it and I was feeding it to my female cat for over a year. Either something in the recipe changed or it was just slow damage, but she got painful bladder inflammation and I'm almost positive it was caused by this dry food. My cat got frequent bloody and painful urinations and couldn't make it to her cat box. They were very similar symptoms to a UTI but no actual bacteria infection was present. No blockage either, but I feel like if she were male, there would have been. At the time, I was feeding her this with a half can of a different brand of wet food (purina) every day. After a very expensive vet visit, I switched her diet to just the canned food I was using and they gave her medication to help with the inflammation. She completely recovered so about a month later, I slowly returned to her dry/wet mix and then she began to pee blood again. I instantly switched her back to just the canned and her symptoms went away and have not come back. This dry food is going in the trash. I won't even donate it to the shelter since I would put another cat at risk with it again. In retrospect, when she was on the dry, she DID drink a lot of water. I know dry food has a low moisture content in general but I think there is something very wrong with this particular one. There are just too many bad reviews with bladder issues. The amount of pee I scoop out of her litter box now is a TON compared to what it used to be and she hardly uses her water dish anymore since being on the wet food diet. I'm glad by kitty is better, but I'm sad she had to go through that!
