For the company to use the word “biodegradable” in the item description is not only misleading, but inaccurate. Total shame on this company. Read further into the description and the bags are referred to as “degradable”. This means the bag will break down into microplastics which can still enter the environment. In a way, this is worse. Stay away. And please do your research before choosing green bags. Buy something BPI certified (of course, these are not). Too many companies are profiting off of products that claim to be green(er) but really aren’t, thanks to greenness being “trendy”.
