Defective, unsafe or I got the one bad one. Photos say it all
We started off with one for our 3 Boxers. Then one needy Boxer decides it needs its own special food, lol. So, we got the second VITTLES VAULT AIRTIGHT “STACKABLE” pet food container , says it right in the description . For, months I kept them side by side, until I moved them to the kitchen during the winter months. I buy 33 and 38 pounds of dog food. I NEVER mix dog food bags together, do to the reason there could be recalls, expiration dates and to keep them fresh. So, at most there would be 38 lbs in a container. The male, who gets the special food goes on the bottom and the ladies food goes on top bin. They were stacked for about 24-36 hours and then the bottom one collapsed, making s crashing nosise, trigger the house alarm and scaring the whole family and dogs in the middle of the night. I stayed within the weight limits, no question about it and it failed. This could really hurt a small child or small pet. I think a Boxer would be ok but you never . Can’t return because past the return time frame and now the unit is all crushed in. They were only moved over here for less than 2 days. I would say these are definitely not stackable. Like others here say now the seal is broke and food won’t stay fresh or keep out ants. Look at bottom one and see how it leans, and has collapsed it will not pop back out in a matter what I do . Anyone have thoughts how to resolve this .?
