With all of the glowing reviews for this I was very hopeful that it would at least give some relief. Boy was I wrong. My whole reason for buying this is that when I suffer from my many migraines, I hold ice packs on my head. But then as I finally start relaxing and falling asleep, I drop them and wake back up. So this looked like a godsend of a product. First of all, the ice packs are situated very uncomfortably no matter how I twist the cap around. The ones that hit any bare skin like my forehead or ears burn like crazy because the cloth is too thin so it's like holding solid ice cubes against my skin with no protection. When I tried putting another layer of cloth between my skin and the hat, I no longer felt the cold. And maybe I should have been able to see this from the pictures. I see it now, but I didn't before purchase. There is no ice that actually sits on top of your head. This is not a hat but a band of ice with an open top. Migraine sufferers beware... this will waste your money and give you false hope. I am just going to try to sew my old softer ice gel packs into an actual hat or something and see if that works. It has to be better than this poorly designed product.
