I received these on January 27, 2020 with the expiration of 10/2020. Today I was sitting in a public lobby with 2 coworkers, I opened 1 took a drink and immediately started gaging it was toxic and rancid. I spit it out, and turned to my coworkers who immediately grabbed their mouths and faces. The smell was as overpowering as mustard gas which I have been through. I ran outside and threw it into a outside garbage can and ran to a bathroom to wash my mouth out. I was gagging the whole time and the rancid toxic smell was stuck on my lips and mouth. I started to wash my mouth out with the hand soap when I came out of the bathroom there were approximately 8 people gaging from the smell and spraying a deodorizer even though I had only had the can open in the air for less than 15 seconds. I immediately contacted Amazon who said there was nothing they can do about it, but my intentions were to warn them about this incident. I pretty much got a thanks and goodbye, but I did tell them I was contacting my local health department. I have been sick to my stomach for the last 10 hours and I am mortified of eating anything as of now and definitely will not be able to drink premix protein drinks for a while. I will be taking the rest of this case to DOH and want to WARN all to be careful of these.
