Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've had this pan for about 2 years and the coating started to peel from the rim of the pan. We solely use this pan for pancakes (low-med heat) and rarely use a spatula (non-metal). I submitted a message to Tramontina through their website asking them how to claim the lifetime warranty. It took them a week to reply and they asked to see photos of the pan which I'd already previously included, but I sent more. They responded about a week later saying it was considered wear and tear and offered $15 off their website to buy a new pan. However, even with a $15 coupon it still costs more to order directly from their website compared to their Amazon listing (after shipping and their website is higher priced). I asked if they'd offer me $15 off an Amazon purchase of their pan from their Amazon store since their coupon made no sense and they just never responded. So if it's wear and tear why would they offer me $15 off? They know it's not wear and tear and their "lifetime warranty" doesn't actually mean anything because once you've bought you can't do anything about it. Why say you have a lifetime warranty when you never honor it? Look through the reviews here and you'll find similar stories. Poor customer care from Tramontina.
