My first review ever on Amazon to warn you away from this trashcan. It looks lovely. It worked really well for about 8 months, but then even constant replacements of brand-new batteries only last a week or so. It's been a battle ever since. Customer service is nonexistent, they simply do not answer their phone. I finally just gave up and ordered a replacement lid, which is great for them - another purchase! I just couldn't stomach tossing a perfectly good trashcan because the lid broke. $25 for the replacement lid and $25 for the shipping - unbelievable. I ignored the same negative reviews all over the site, don't make the same mistake I did.
