This was a replacement for my first one, see below. But six months later, it started malfunctioning again, just stopping recording at random. As I was used to iit and expected it to work, I seldom checked it, but when I did, it was missing days or weeks of recording. I reformatted the card multiple times,checked the card on my laptop, rest the device many times, but it still randomly records. I no longer trust this brand. I'm on the road a lot and need a dependable dashcam, which I'm about to search for now. My Roav S1 Dashcam stopped working right just a week before the one-year warranty was up. It quit looping, recording over previous video. I contacted Roav and they asked me a few reasonable questions about what kind of micro SD card I used to which I sent them the model numbers, two name-brand Class 10 SDs from Amazon. They then quickly emailed me to say they were sorry the dashcam was not working right, and they were sending me a new one, which came four days later. They also sent me a postage prepaid label and asked me to send the old dashcam back to them so their engineers could figure out what went wrong so they could improve the camera if needed. I have had the new S1 10 days and wanted that test time before I wrote this review. All is working great now! Oh, when I took the old S1 to the post office to return it, I had just put it back in the original box and taped the box up with the label and clear packing tape, so you could still read the descriptions on the box. So the lady working at the post office saw that it was a dashcam, and told me she was planning on getting one for her daughter and herself. I told her the Roav S1 was the one to get, no doubt about it, and told her how Roav Customer Service had just taken care of me with a replacement dashcam -- two more well-earned sales for Roav.
