This "protective" case destroyed the inside of my Apple Watch Sport (42mm). I ordered this product to protect my device, not ruin it. I have never dropped or mishandled the watch at all. The damage you see is a direct result of tiny debris finding its way between the case and the watch itself, and in effect, sanding the aluminum case. Had I known this was an issue, I may have taken more care to remove the watch from the case and wash everything more frequently. I never felt the need to remove it until I read someone else's negative review on here, and then I inspected it. I was shocked. I'd be willing to wager that less damage would have occurred had I avoided a case entirely. I have received a few comments on the look of the case (mostly questions like "what kind of watch is that?", and "is that an Apple Watch?"), but not enough to justify the resulting deterioration of my watch. The damage is entirely on the bottom and would not be noticeable even without the case on, but it will negatively impact the resale value, and wasn't free itself. I highly suggest avoiding a case altogether for your Apple Watch, as this issue may likely occur with others as well.
