First off, the measurement details they provide do not make any sense. So I decided to get my typical size, a size M or size 10. I read many reviews/comments to help with my decision too but I guess that was a FAIL. I'm 5'5, 160lb, natural waist = 30", pants waist/lower waist = 33", hips ~41". The material has a satin feel and stretch to it. Even though it feels "thick" to the touch, the white skirt is see through (granted I am wearing the wrong undergarments in my pics). I honestly feel like my best bet is to wear nothing under it! The material is smooth-textured enough that even my muscles show though. As I am in the process of returning this skirt, I ordered a large hoping it will fit much better. I will either have a second review or update this one with details about the large. Update: This review went from 3 stars down to 2. i received the large and, although it looked more comfortable around my thighs, it was too wide for my waist. I included additional pictures of this skirt in large. I guess it's just not one of those articles of clothing that fit any body shape...
