Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

My wife has been using this brand of cocoa powder for many years and she usually bought it from Sur La Table or other local store. She also once had a friend brought it back from France. This is the first time she bought it from Amazon. Immediately after she opened the container, she realized the color of cocoa powder is different from the ones she bought before. The chocolate cake made from it was lighter in color as she claimed. To prove her point, she bought it from Sur La Table online (because it was out of stock at local store) and compared it with one she bought from Amazon. (Picture) Both weight 310g. Container itself weights about 60g. so both net weight 250g. However, the one on the right (from Amazon) has higher volume and lighter in color. One on the left (from Sur La Table) has lower volume and darker in color. Both weight the same. I am not sure how this happened or why, because both products are still within expiration date and both are brand new and just opened. Can someone explains this to me?
