I was looking forward to using this to prune our apple trees before the new spring growth arrives. The first two branches cut nice and easy, but when the third failed to cut all the way through, I looked at the pruning head, and lo and behold the cutting blade had just snapped clean off at the base! Very surprising, since all of our other Fiskars products have been so sturdy and reliable. Maybe it's just a fluke, and not indicative of an overall poor-quality product, but I'm very disappointed.
