I used these coasters on top of three different types of wood tables (The types of table that requires occasional cleaning with mildly-oily wood cleaning sprays.) When I used these coasters on my tables under icy beverage glasses for a few minutes or more, the coaster's silicone pattern was imprinted in white on my tables. This occurred without any liquid dripping off the edge of the coasters! It's as if microscopic seepage passed through the silicone, though I have no evidence to support this idea. I had to rub wood cleaner into the stains for a minute or so to remove the stains. Needless to say, this makes these coasters unusable for the type of furniture that I have. I'm rather shocked that no other reviewer has noticed this problem. I'm very disappointed based on the consistently high reviews.
