Not sure if the UL certificate is fake, but this does not have anything connected to ground, just a blind port. Was trying to see if i can remove the ground pin for use with a 2 prong fan on a 2 prong outlet and took it apart. As you can see, nothing actually connects to ground, so even if used on a 3 prong outlet and a 3 prong device, THIS WI LL NOT PROVIDE GROUND. Any device with metal like a lamp etc will not be properly connected and not protected against those metal parts carrying current in case of a problem.
