I have had many Brita's but this one is awful. It was cheaper than the other Brita's and since this was just going stay in the fridge, it was fine - plus I love the red. The little lid that flips open to fill is always falling off -- it's missing the little ridge that you would gently snap it into place. Also, when you fill it, I always fill right to the absolute top... this one starts to leak before you even reach the top. I have to put it in the sink to fill it or the counter will be soaked. And when you pour, the water just gushes out... you really have to pour gently. There is also a sticky glue like stuff from the top of the spot to the bottom of the canister - like it was fixed post production. I would have sent this back right away had I known all of this in time --- but I had no immediate need for it when it arrived, so it sat in the box used for quite a long time. This is knock against all of Brita, please don't assume that - I love their products... just not this particular one.
