Don't do it. This topper was like a bad relationship. I was so excited for this to arrive and things seemed great until I got into bed with it and it became a pit I couldn't get out of. Thank God it was short lived. It said it would support me and my dreams, when the time came for it to shine it fell flat (LITERALLY). This thing provided no support, it crushes down to nothing anywhere there is weight ( I'm 5'9" 155lbs... Shouldn't be an issue) . It said it would conform to me and align my spine but what it really meant was it would conform my body to whatever it had in mind. Within an hour I realized I was being bent into somewhat of a V shape and my back was starting to hurt. To add to the problems my husband and I were being pushed into a new pit in the center of this pad (not an issue we've ever had with our mattress) I tried sleeping on all sides of my body... Nothing was comfortable. I'm not a hot sleeper at all and this thing had me sweating like nobody's business. Ended up pulling it off the mattress in the middle of the night and fighting in back into it's packaging the next morning. If anything, I can say that yes this will make your mattress better even after you send it back... Because you'll realize it could always be worse.
