This product is possessed! I had to order a new Fire tablet because poor design caused my old one to fall apart at the seams (see photo), and it works much worse than the old one. (I previously ordered a Fire HD 10 last year but needed to return it when the software would not load onto the device.) You cannot use Mayday on this device because it is not offered, and now a technician cannot see your screen when you are describing a problem. It keeps inserting the wrong words when you type-- EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE TURNED SPELL CHECK OFF AND WORD CORRECTION OFF! (This has been a problem I've complained about for years with my old Fire tablet, and Amazon techs are either never able to correct it or never desire to correct it.) Since it does not give you a microphone icon on the keyboard to turn on a speech to text feature (as was standard on the old Fire), you are forced to type everything with wrong words constantly being inserted by the device. Even though Amazon reps say there is no voice to text feature, my Fire HD 10 will arbitrarily turn voice to text and put it on Internet search when I am talking or someone is talking on the TV! The mail also keeps scrolling to the top when trying to scroll down to see old messages! My Echo Dot is just as possessed because Alexa will start talking even though I have not asked "her" a question or mentioned "her" name.
