This is not real Ceylon, I have been buying and consuming it for years. I use 2-3 lbs of this annually. The consistency and smell is off. It smells like poor quality potpourri and is very faint in comparison to the Ceylon I’ve had in my cubboard for the last 4 months. The color and consistency also looks different from what I usually purchase. I tried this brand because of the Fair Trade guarantee but it seems like the trade wasn’t fair at all, seeing as this is definitely closely resembling cassia cinnamon. I eat too much cinnamon daily, so it’s scary when you are sent something different than what you purchased.
