You get what you pay for. The first time I fired it up, it SMOKED and filled my apartment with the smell of burning plastic. I opened up all the windows, scooped up my cat and we sat in the bathroom for thirty minutes waiting for it to air out. After it had smoked me out, I am still hungry and (unintelligently) decide that if it smokes me out again I'll order out. Well, it didn't smoke that time so I started cooking. Problem is, once it had gotten up to temperature, the damn thing turned off. In order to keep my water boiling I had to continually move it from full on to full off. Evidently tuckered out after its ordeal, the little Imusa obediently turned itself off permanently and died, allowing me to toss it in the garbage without a twinge of regret. Don't buy this thing.
