Melted USB. Burned finger.
I had it plugged in to the cable in my car. I hadn't used it that morning. When I went to unplug it to take it in to work the plug was extremely hot. It wasn't even charging a phone, just sitting there on the console. I purchased based on ratings and reviews so this is just a fluke but the potential is there.
