I love The Office. Like many I was a fan of the British version and was so excited when the US version came along. And I watched every episode. When I saw this book was coming out I couldn't wait to read it! But what I didn't know was that "An Oral History" meant it was page after page after page of quotes. Quotes from the directors, from the actors, from the script superiors. I am guessing there are some folks out there that enjoy this type of book, but I am not one of them. I was looking forward to reading about each season, small tidbits about episodes, some cool trivia here and there. But this format of being only quotes, I stopped reading after Chapter 1. If you can get a free sample of the book, I'd recommend it so you can decide if this format is something you would like. One wasn't available when I ordered it. If it was I would not have purchased it.
