I was excited to try Schmidts like others searching for a natural alternative. Worked fine the first few days with some skin discoloration. After a week my skin looked burnt and the top layer started to peel off in chunks. It didn't hurt at this point so I pushed through. Then came the pain. Started get large, painful red welts that itched and burned. I discontinued using the deodorant and it took a couple weeks before the welts/itching/pain disappeared. This was in April 2017. Fast forward to Oct 2017. I decided to try it again. BAD MISTAKE. First time using it, I immediately had the same adverse reactions. I discontinued use right away and it's going on 3 weeks that the painful itchy welts are persisting. I have applied hydrocortisone with some success and it seems to finally be going away. There is something seriously wrong with this deodorant. Too many people having bad reactions is no coincidence. I do not have sensitive skin or allergies.
