After 4 months the pedals started falling off. We put one back on then the other one came off. Turns out the threads for the pedals are very shallow resulting in little grip. Also the piece that goes into the connection on the motor isn't machined right. It's backwards. The threads end up being on the inner most part when they need to be on the outer side to connect to the threads in the connector. Getting replacement parts wouldn't solve the bad design issue. We're going to try applying some lock tight and see if that gets the pedal to hold. If that fails the whole thing is going in the trash and we start over with a different bike. Definitely wouldn't recommend this one.
