I bought two of these at Home Depot (which I'll be returning). This item is being sold as the "2016" model but it's actually last year's (2015) model. (Please see the attached photo of the 2016 model) The new model is much brighter and higher resolution. They've also worked out a few of the quality issues and added an HDMI port so that you can play videos directly from a computer or DVD player. The 2016 model is called the AtmosFX Holiday Digital Decorating Kit (HDDK). The images produced by this model are dim and of poor resolution (480x320 pixels, no matter what the ad or instructions say; this info is from the atmosfx.com website). 480x320 is lower resolution than old-fashioned TV sets AND this projector displays the images as Interlaced, NOT Progressive-Scan. You can clearly see the scan lines as the videos play. Too much money if it's not even 480p, if you ask me. Atmosfx.com is sold out of their new projectors and complete kits on their website but, as long as you don't mind the lack of a tripod mount, any of the less expensive projectors on offer here at Amazon would do. And some do have at least horizontal (landscape) tripod mounts. There are even "kits" put together by third parties as better ways to display the FearFX videos. You can also purchase the projection materials, videos, etc separately and put together your own set based on your budget.
