Not really about hillbillies
This book and it's author has little to say and to contribute regarding any understanding of " hillbillies" or the noble people who call Appalachia their home. Basically this is a memoir about a dysfunctional childhood that could've taken place on the poor side of Chicago, Detroit or Seattle.
