1/10/23 - I’ve ordered these locs 2 times, and was happy in the past. However this order I got screwed the day before my appointment. One order is supposed to come with 5 packs of hair that is 24 inches long, and 1 pack of hair 18 inches long. I paid $30 and received literally one little bundle of hair (12 locs) I am missing the other 5 packs!!!! Basically an order is 72 locs but they only sent me 12. What am I to do with 12 locs. Reading other reviews it looks like this mistake is happening more and more frequently. So as cute as they are, I won’t ever be buying again from this supplier. I did instantly request a refund and took my behind straight to UPS to return the 12 measly locs, but it was time and a hassle and I had to a scramble to buy hair in time for my appointment. **** **** I purchased these locs in color 1B on Amazon. They came fast (prime member). Just one order comes with 6 packs, a crochet hook and 5-6 hair charms. So one order should be enough to do your full head, each order consists of: 5 packs in 24 inches 1 pack in 16 inches (to give layers) ***there are 12 locs per pack, so 72 locs in total*** I get my hair done often using crochet locs and also add loose crochet hair for the boho loc look. I most often use Bobbi Boss nulocs but wanted to see what Amazon had to offer. Honestly these are gorgeous locs and you can’t beat the price, I paid less ordering here than purchasing in my local beauty supply stores. From what I can tell these are going to be perfect, however I haven’t installed them yet so I won’t know until I do. I read a lot of comments mentioning tangling/ snagging but I feel that really comes with any crochet locs you buy. Even though it’s a protective style you do still need to do some routine/ daily maintenance…not much but definitely some. Sleep with your hair wrapped, use mousse or leave in conditioner spray as needed. And run your fingers through to detangle areas. I’ll try and remember to post a picture of these after I install them. But so far it’s a good buy and they are very pretty and not crazy fake looking. I usually get color 2 or 4 but these locs didn’t come in either of those colors so I went with 1b. I was a little nervous it would look too dark for my skin tone but it’s actually a nice rich color and looks natural. Although the ombre locs on here look nice, I don’t know how well they look in person. But this 1b is perfect and natural. Just buy already!
