I purchased this blanket as a 2010 Xmas gift for my wife but the controller died after 3 months of use. I called Perfect Fit's 1.800.299.1378 like the manual said to do and left a message. The message was returned within 5 minutes to my surprise and was told another controller would be sent out the next morning. After waiting 4 weeks I called their 1.800 number again but the mailbox was full (most likely due to huge number of defective blankets) and continued to call for the next week when I finally got to leave a message. After 5 business days I called again but this time the message said they would return my call within 2 business days, so I waited another 5 business days with no call. I believe 8 weeks and no new controller is a bit excessive, so I got Amazon to take back this piece of junk of a blanket and return my money. I would highly recommend NOT buying this blanket or anything from Perfect Fit unless you want to waste a lot of time or if you're very much into being ignored. Cheers, Wayne w.
