This is gonna be long. I'm pissed. I purchased the scent and dye free version of this laundry detergent a couple weeks ago and received the clean scent version instead. Easy enough mistake. I had an easy job of exchanging the incorrectly sent detergent for the correct one fairly easily because amazon.com has good policies on this. Last week I received my replacement detergent and the label read "scent and dye free" so we were satisfied and weren't so bothered by an extra week waiting or having to go find an amazon locker. However, after doing a load, my wife thought she smelled some perfumey scent on the clothes. This isn't a big deal at all if you don't have sensitive skin, or if you didn't intentionally buy detergent without scent, so I get it if you can't relate. At this point we were a little annoyed but figured perhaps some companies' version of scent and dye free are still a little scenty or dyey... or something like that. We were gonna return it again because the item description was wrong (there was scent, even though it wasn't supposed to have scent) but this was more of an annoyance than anything else. Maybe a bit more of an annoyance because our 15 month old started having rashes on his body that he never got with other brands like Kirkland. But hey, you learn and move on. However, this evening when I was about to go through the return process with amazon.com, my wife noticed that the sticker that identified the detergent as "scent and dye free" was sitting on top of another sticker. She peeled the sticker back and found that it was hiding an original sticker that was clearly marked "clean scent." So we were sent a replacement for a clean scent detergent, with a clean scent detergent that was masked to look like a scent and dye free detergent. SOMEONE COVERED THE CORRECTLY LABELED SCENTED DETERGENT WITH THE INCORRECT UNSCENTED LABEL! SCREW THAT man. What the heck are you guys doing over there. Maybe you got some quality control issues with your packaging, maybe you have lazy and irresponsible packers, or maybe you even have malicious packers who don't mind screwing with people. Either way, I am going through two returns with your company for some simple scent and dye free laundry detergent. Do the job right maybe, or at least do the job wrong only once, and then do it right the second time. Rashy. Maybe Unlucky. Definitely Deceived. Annoyed. PISSED. COME ON!
