Firstly, this is not a fish tank, it is a decorative piece. Bettas do not like a current, and this waterfall over their heads will stress them out. The holes are too big and with the current, it will just push them into the other lower sections. The space is a square and a small square. While bettas can survive in a tiny bowl, it does not thrive. Bettas also don't swim in those tiny fish bowls, they just sit on the bottom waiting to die. Additionally, this thing doesn't come with a heater, and bettas need at least 78, mine like 80. Get a real tank 5.5 at least, try for 10 gallon with a proper filter and heater. The one I have in a 10 gallon, he swims so fast, his fins are so satiny and colorful - I could watch him all day. This thing is a killer!
