Had this oven cooking chicken in the hot Texas sun following directions as closely as possible. The temp only got close to slow cooker temps and I had to finish in the oven. The window kept fogging up blocking the sun and opening it would let the heat out. I'm not interested in a product that I need to baby sit constantly to reach barely food safe temperatures. They say to put a rock or something under it to get a better angle, but it just sagged around the rock and disrupted the cooking plates bc the bottom is flexible! Invest in a better solar cooker - I have seen some of the metal ones work wonders. IMPORTANT: the company offers a coupon to buyers who give a 5 star rating!
