Over, we really like this chair. However, earlier today, my wife was teaching from home due to COVID. She shifted her weight back, and one leg of the base collapsed. This is directly due to the design-- of teh 5 legs, 1 has a pivot (designed to make the legs small enough to fit in the package, so during assembly you have to attach the outer part of the leg. If that leg is facing back, and the wrong pressure is applied, the back leg comes unhinged, and the person sitting will end up on the floor. Fortunately, it appears this is only causing some bruising. However, this is a safety issue that needs to be fixed before I could recommend this chair to any one. If, after attaching the outer arm of the chair, they just added a brace, with a screw to hold it in place Of course, this happens after the return window has closed (all summer she has not been sing it-- she started back to school today, and it collapsed!!) I will also be emailing the seller directly, and if I can find it, the manfactuer.
