I read all the negative reviews but my excitement of buying 1 filter ever again over-rode my better judgement... in a nutshell, after almost 4 months of this filter being in my 2 year old HVAC system, it was still clean as the day I installed it. I’m not kidding, looking through it with a lamp behind it showed ZERO dust! Paper filters i world change out every month and they were DIRTY with 4 dogs and a cat running around. And of course by the time I found out this is a crap filter Amazon’s 30-day policy was long over. Not a happy camper! Who knows how much life has been taken out of my new HVAC system with the caked-on dust inside the blower and motor and core and to think about all that caked on dust in my vent system now. It just burns me up as my mom says!
