The tips and labels at the end of the pencils ...
The tips and labels at the end of the pencils do NOT match the actual color. Even though some pencil tips and labels claim the colors are different, the core inside matches exactly to other pencils, so there really aren't 72 unique colors, just unique labels, ie : Blue Violet and Prussian Blue are the exact same color in their cores.
