I read all the reviews very carefully, I was very nervous about buying a mattress that I could not lay on, but I went with the good reviews. The box springs and mattress came on time and were in easy to manage boxes. I opened the box spring and unfolded it and put it on the bed frame, very smart idea. Then I put the mattress on the box springs and cut the straps and let it open up fully for 24 hrs. It is a very nice looking mattress and has a nice pillow top to it. Then I tried it out, excited to feel the "plush comfortable mattress that was in between firm and soft", not so! I feel like I got a different mattress than the rest of the reviewers, mine is VERY firm there is little to no give to it. I went out and bought a Pacific Coast feather top hoping it would help, it did a little but not enough. The problem is now that this mattress is expanded to a regular size how do I return it??? I bought this for my bed, not for guest or my kid, but for my bed. I wake up on and off all night because my hip and shoulders get sore, I am strictly a side sleeper, this may be good for back sleepers who want a more firm mattress but for side sleepers not so much. I give it a two star because of the ingenuity of the fold up box springs, the mattress packaging and Amazon's always great shipping. For comfort if you like a FIRM mattress this is it, if you want any give or "plush" feeling this is NOT the mattress for you.
