Not 'Just some guy', a father who believes what we teach matters.
I should change my name to Just Some Dad.
Call me what you will but these stories send the wrong message to a 4yo or any young impressionable child.
If you want to share the fun and excitement of breaking rules, stealing, submission, sneaking, lying and the sort, this is the one for you. Go ahead and teach your daughter that happiness is finding a man and getting married at 16.
Some of the animation in this book literally disturbs my child. I am not a fan.
These 'classics' (archaic ways of thinking) once read with my parent eyes are simply not the direction I want my child to go. Maybe if we would all focus on delivering messages of loving, helping, hard working, honest behavior the future can be brighter. That is a description of a book I want my 4 yo to read. Not this garbage.
