I was excited at first- tried the petsafe self-cleaning box- what an epic fail....reeked of urine after a week and ended up costing way more than any potential convenience...so I got this. was relieved by the convenience of dumping my litter straight into the genie without the hassle of collecting everything in a bag every few days. Then I had an "aha" moment- this is a flimsy piece of plastic that requires two hands and has a small capacity- I was also able to smell the urine after a few days......wait a minute! this is like the diaper genie but the diaper genie is way better!!! so I got a $35 diaper genie that is way thicker plastic, operates by a foot pedal and is at least 2.5 times the size....Bottom line...skip this and go for the real deal- a diaper genie. trust me. I actually enjoy the process of scooping the litter chunks and dumping into my awesome diaper genie just with a step on the pedal.
