I received a Cuisnart WAF-F20 Double Belgian Waffle Maker from Amazon on July 17, 2019. I first attempted to use it on September 6, 2019 which, unfortunately, was past Amazon's return window. When I turned it on, it began to beep continuously and then shut itself off. I attempted to turn it on several times, with the same results. Since it was then beyond the Amazon return window, I attempted to contact Cuisinart's consumer service by 'phone. Every time I called I was put on hold for almost two hours, after which I gave up and hung up. I then tried to contact them via email on September 6, 2019. I was asked to provide them with the make, model number, and proof of purchase, which I did. Since then, I've tried to contact them several times to find out whether and when I would receive a replacement (it's under a three-year warranty). As of October 3, 2019 I haven't heard back from Cuisinart. My advice is that if you purchase a Cuisinart product from Amazon, check it out to be sure it works before the Amazon return window expires (typically 30 days after purchase). Otherwise you'll have to deal with the folks at Cuisinart consumer service and, like me, may not get a replacement for months, if ever.
