There is little doubt that Peter Hamilton is a literary genius. Unfortunately he seems to have adopted every form of political correctness to the detriment of what would be a fantastic story. It seems that 98%, at least, of all of the characters are homosexual,bisexual,transgender or in a biracial relationship. The continuous repetition of that theme was disruptive to the flow of what otherwise would have been a wonderful novel.
