The tag looked ok when I received it - the engraving seemed light, but I figured it should still last. I was wrong. The metal discolored my dog's white fur, and in the 3 months that she's worn it, it's now illegible (see the picture). Her other tags (on a different ring) are all fine. By the way, this did not come with a mounting ring. I would not recommend this for daily use on an animal. Or daily use in general.
