I really wanted to love this product. The concept is great. The idea of no wires really drew me to this. We have a fairly normal property. It is relatively square and flat with the house in the middle. I thought this would work great. I'd put the transmitter in the middle of the house and set it so the electric field went out near the fences. Unfortunately, it just didn't work. It took hours and hours to get the flags placed. Turning the knob to increase or decrease the size of the field changes the field dramatically. Also, moving the transmitter makes a big difference. If I wanted the circle to move a foot to the left, I thought I could just move the transmitter a foot to the left. But, that didn't work. It changed the field dramatically, and I had to completely redo the flag placement. After a couple of days struggling like this, I finally got the flags placed where I wanted them and tested them all. I was happy and ready to get started. The next day I started the training. To my dismay, the beeping from the receiver was several feet away from where the flags were placed. The size of the field had changed! Over the course of a week, the field changed several times. The change was not small. In some places it was ten feet off, which I thought was just not fair to the dogs. After two weeks, I was frustrated to the point of not even wanting to use it. I've packaged it back up and am sending it back today. Maybe there is some kind of interference in my area that is messing the signal up. Regardless, it just didn't work for me.
