This seemed like a nice little washer until not long outside of the warranty the pump essentially blew apart. I spoke to Simpson customer service and they essentially said i was SOL. Because of the nature of the failure they said I could take it to a service center to have it inspected as being a manufacturers defect or not, then it would be sent to a separate claim office where they would do their own review to determine whether they would pay for the repair. This is not my personal washer, it was purchased for the company I work for, and now we are down a washer. I really don't have the time to wait on their multiple stage forensic investigation into what is clearly a manufacturing issue. The metal on the pump casing is just junk. I need a well running pump now and in the future, so I will not risk buying another Simpson pressure washer if they will not step up and take care of this type of situation. I explained this to customer service, and that they could potentially be losing a big/long term customer as we are a growing company, but like most companies seem to operate nowadays they told me there was nothing they could do aside from sending my washer (which I will go ahead and fix myself) out on the road for an undetermined length of time and outcome. Buy at your own risk.
