I bought the silver bread pan with texture. I first thought this pan was a great deal. It turns out that this pan is made with bad design and material quality in comparison to other professional pan made for bakeries. I actually bought a second pan that’s made in the US. The differences are surprisingly obvious when used it at the same time. 1. This on takes twice as long to bake the same bread when compared to a good quality pan. This is tested when I first received the second pan. The result tells me that this Chinese made pan uses bad quality metal. 2. The cover doesn’t lock into place. It’s so easily to accidentally slide the cover open even when I just tried to store it on the shelf. 3. I tried to bake pound cake in the pan, but the construction of the pan is actually flawed. There are three holes on the bottom of the pan. It supposed to help with air flow, but I found the holes to be mostly decorative. The fold seams on the short sides of the pan are not properly sealed or folded, which results some of the cake mixture to leak into the gap. There’s no way to clean the cooked mixture or cake crumbs in the gap. One more thing that I’d like to mention is that there’s a few websites that can help consumers to identify products with fake reviews. When I checked this product on Fake Spot after the purchase, it showed that this product has mostly fake reviews. Please consider to buy other products that have actual reviews, and do buy from trusted brands or manufacturers.
