I bought this package of viva chia seeds from Amazon from November of 2016. Last month in May I was about three-quarter through my package. And one morning I scooped another tablespoon and poured it into my bowl. That's when I realized there are bugs, very tiny bugs crawling inside my bowl. Then I looked inside the bottom of my chia seed bag and then noticed there are dozens and dozens of small living bugs still crawling inside the bottom of my bag. It wasn't noticeable before because I guess they were always living at the bottom of the bag and I just didn't see them before. But I've always sealed the bag very well on my end and I don't see any holes on the outside of the bag. Anyway, so much for my first experience with chia seeds.......
